The Formation PR + Brand team began working on the annual report for the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County before the COVID-19 pandemic. Forced into a virtual work environment, the team was able to make adjustments and produce a great product.
The Formation team transitioned to working from home on March 16, 2020. At this time, work had already begun on the annual report project. With these new circumstances, the team understood they would not be able to do things the same way and worked together to find the most efficient, yet convenient way to move forward.
Understanding that the new work environment and restrictions did not allow for in-person meetings, both sides had to be flexible and understand deadlines would potentially be altered. Formation held two Zoom meetings and were able to finalize the report by working through the edits with the client in real time using the screen share option during the virtual meeting. This process made it easier for the client to review and helped to cut down on back and forth time and make the deadline.
The team was able to produce a great product, and by wearing a mask, was able to safely deliver the annual report to the client for dissemination.
