Formation PR + Brand Receives Platinum and Gold Hermes CreativeAwards for Dogwood Health Trust Digital Annual Report and PisgahLegal ACA Enrollment Campaign

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C.– Formation PR + Brand, a public relations and branding agency serving the healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, public health, and regional planning sectors, was recently recognized as a platinum and gold winner of the 2021 Hermes Creative Awards. The platinum award was given for the “Electronic Interactive Media” category for Dogwood Health Trust’s Digital Annual Report. The Formation team received the gold award for “Print Media” category for the Pisgah Legal ACA Enrollment Campaign.

The Hermes Creative Awards are an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the awards recognize outstanding work in the marketing and communication industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of industry professionals.

In 2021, there were more than 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and dozens of other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2021 competition. Since its founding in 2007, Formation PR + Brand, formerly Allison Development Group, has won the Hermes Creative Awards nine times and the MarCom Awards eight times – 17 awards in total from the AMCP.

The Dogwood Health Trust Digital Annual Report is a highly interactive web report, which includes a simple PDF for downloads, and was designed to create buzz, reach a wider audience, and reflect the look and feel that an innovative start-up should have. Formation PR + Brand led the creative design process and partnered with BECK Digital to bring the report to life in a digital format.

“This was our foundation’s very first report to the community, and we wanted to reflect the spirit of community engagement that is core to all of our work,” said Betsey Russell, Senior Director of Communications at Dogwood Health Trust. “This energetic, interactive format was exactly the way we needed to present ourselves, and the team at Formation PR + Brand designed and executed it beautifully.”

Pisgah Legal Services (PLS) engaged Formation PR + Brand to develop and launch an awareness and engagement campaign that would educate residents in nine western North Carolina counties about opportunities for healthcare coverage via the Affordable Care Act. The ultimate goal was to increase health insurance coverage for many WNC residents who may have thought they didn’t qualify or were unsure about the process. The multi-channel campaign was a tremendous success. Utilizing print, radio, digital and OTT (Over the Top streaming) the campaign garnered 1.5 million impressions in the WNC region. Digital ads for this campaign directed people to a regional landing page where the PLS team could then assist in the enrollment process.
