How does a newly-formed philanthropic organization tell its story and connect with regional partners?

Born out of the sale of an established hospital system, Dogwood Health Trust provides nearly $80 million in grants from its $1.5 billion endowment each year to non-profit partners in Western North Carolina. To help those in the region already doing the important work of creating a Western North Carolina where everyone can live, learn, earn and thrive – no exceptions, Dogwood needed to establish its brand, enunciate its mission and amplify its partnerships. Formation PR + Brand has supported Dogwood from its inception, serving as an extension of its communications and public relations teams, to a full rebrand in 2022 that officially launched in Jan. 2023. We offer communications and PR strategy, create branding, and develop a wide range of marketing assets, from print pieces to digital assets, including Dogwood’s award-winning digital annual report.
